This Privacy Policy explains how FlowCatalyst Technology and Consulting Inc. (“FTC”, “Flopay”, “we”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit flopaygy.com, contact us (including by WhatsApp, phone, email, social media or website chat), register as a merchant, or use Flopay services.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and enquiry details: your name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number and the content of your messages.
- Merchant registration information: business documents, identification for the account holder, bank account details for settlement, and the names of users you add.
- Transaction information: details of card payments processed through your terminal (such as amount, date, time, approval status and masked card data). Full card numbers are handled by certified, PCI DSS compliant systems and are not stored by us in readable form.
- Support records: tickets and notes created when you contact support, including chat transcripts.
- Website data: basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.
2. How we use it
- To reply to enquiries and provide support.
- To assess, open and manage merchant accounts, including identity and business checks required by our sponsor bank and the card networks.
- To process payments, settle funds to your bank account and send statements.
- To prevent fraud, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes.
- To improve our services and, where you agree, to send you service updates and offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to provide our services: with Demerara Bank Limited (our sponsor bank), the card networks, our processing and technology providers (for example our CRM, e-signature and messaging providers), and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
4. Chat and messaging
When you contact us by WhatsApp, social media or website chat, your messages are processed by those platforms under their own privacy terms and by us to answer your request. Please don’t send card numbers, PINs or passwords in any message.
5. Security and retention
We protect information with access controls, firewalls, VPN connections and PCI DSS compliant systems. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, regulatory and card-network record-keeping requirements.
6. Your choices and rights
You may ask to see, correct or update the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop sending marketing messages, by contacting us. We will respond in line with applicable law in Guyana.
7. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose to play an embedded video, YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode) may set its own cookies.
